Constructive DSGA

Tom R. Chambers works with his "Digital Suprematism - Geometric Abstraction" project ( Chambers Arts (godaddysites.com) ) by rotating ... 360 degrees at 90-degree intervals ... several of the pieces within a square as a constant placeholder. This approach could be considered "Constructivism" since the pieces are repeated four times, reconfigured (through rotation), and assembled as a whole, or complete unit within the square placeholder.

Constructivism was a post-World War I development of Russian Futurism, and particularly of the 'counter reliefs' of Vladimir Tatlin, which had been exhibited in 1915. The term itself was invented by the sculptors Antoine Pevsner and Naum Gabo, who developed an industrial, angular style of work, while its geometric abstraction owed something to the Suprematism of Kazimir Malevich.
